A beautifully put homage to the artistic life from one who embodies it fully. You are truly inspiring, Loene. 💕

It was interesting reading your thoughts on Dylan and reinvention. He has had a number of phases. I didn't enjoy going to one of his shows when he sang all his old standards to a reggae beat. He presented it as a reinvention, but it felt contrived and self indulgent to me. Having said that, I remain a respectful fan.

That's nice to hear Luigi. I would have so loved to have seen Dylan do all his songs reggae style! I love how he changes up their feel regularly.

Also loved reading the Bob Dylan quote - there’s a person who has been though many changes! From freedom hippy radical to corporate shows and hedge funds and Christianity... what does that all say about radicalism in the 60’s? Just about to go deep into Slow Train Coming - never have and it’s time. So much about identity in the world today. Who am I? What is me? Are we still doing Descartes? Probably not. Is an AI a person? Is it a zombie with no soul? Thinks and talks LIKE a human but isn’t? Is a woman confined to that category? Who decides what categories and genders apply? Wild times Lo, wild times... and loving it!

I've never got into Slow Train Coming either, maybe I'll give it a red hot go too. You should start your own Substack Roland?
