I didn’t wear sensible shoes for years, still have an aversion, but I did buy a very overpriced pair of trainers once when I lived in England and all the gals in London wore them with dresses because everybody walks everywhere and there are so many steps to navigate on the Tube. I am back in DollylLand (Nashville) now and my soft clothes are satin leopard print trousers with a taco-friendly elastic waist, with matching leopard mules 😹

Now that's some soft clothes I can get behind! Also, I feel like 'taco-friendly elastic waist' is a branding opportunity in waiting. My current faves are velour trackies with socks & clogs, a pairing my daughter calls 'a strong look'.....

I did not own them but I did think black Ripples were extremely cool - and I rocked some desert boots with baby pink socks at school. I could probably embrace the Dunlop Volleys now, they are very classic and could go with almost everything!
